Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the MD degree program at our University, you must meet the following requirements:

For the 4-year program:

– Have a strong academic record from your college or university

– Complete at least 90 credit hours in subjects like:

    – Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, etc.)

    – Mathematics

    – Liberal arts or social sciences

– If you’re from the US, also submit your MCAT scores

For the 5-year program:

– Provide proof of passing grades in:

    – GCE “O” and “A” Level (or equivalent)

    – CXC in subjects like:

        – Physics

        – Chemistry

        – Biology

        – Mathematics

        – English

For Bsc in Nursing

The BSc. Nursing programme is offered over 8 semesters and prepares graduates who can give high quality of patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse.

(a) High School Diploma:

– 5 GCE “O” level credits or equivalent in:

    – Biology

    – Mathematics

    – Chemistry (or Integrated Science, Physics, or another science/social science subject)

(b) CXC/CSEC and CAPE/GCE A Level:

– Passes in:

    – English (or CAPE Communication Studies)

    – Mathematics (or equivalent)

    – Biology

    – 2 other science, liberal arts, or social science subjects

(c) Nursing Diploma/Certificate:

– From an approved Caribbean or Commonwealth institution

– Final cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
