Eligibility Criteria

Africa Scholarship Programme Selection Process

Can I Apply for This Scholarship?

After MSc applications are reviewed, the selection committee will coordinate the scholarship selection.

• On 1 April 2026, eligible candidates selected for the ASP September 2026 scholarship will be notified by email
• From this pool, candidates will be selected by lot and either offered the scholarship or placed on a waiting list
• On 7 May 2026, final results will be communicated to all invited candidates

If you do not receive an email on 1 April, you are no longer under consideration for the scholarship.

How to Apply for a Master’s Programme at Wageningen University

To qualify for the Africa Scholarship Programme, you must first apply for an MSc programme at Wageningen University & Research.

Step 1 – Select Your Programme(s) in Studielink

Applicants must apply via “Studielink“.
You may apply for a maximum of two programmes per intake.

• Do not upload documents in Studielink
• Enter personal and academic details accurately
• If in your final year, include your Bachelor’s programme under prior education

Step 2 – Upload Documents in the Osiris Application Portal

After applying in Studielink, you will receive login details for the Osiris portal.

• Bachelor’s degree (original + certified English translation if required)
• Academic transcript (official, complete, stamped)
• Proof of English proficiency (see English language requirements)
• Curriculum Vitae (max 2 pages, English)
• (Optional) Personal Statement regarding prior education

Step 3 – Assessment of Documents

The Admissions Office will review your application.
You will be contacted within two weeks if documents are missing or rejected.

Step 4 – Admission Decision

The Admissions Board will make a final decision within 6–8 weeks.
Successful candidates will receive details on enrolment and steps towards enrolment.

Step 5 – Appeal Procedure
