Key Responsibilities of the Mondelēz Line Lead

Operational and Leadership Duties

• Ensure safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets are met
• Break down section targets into line and unit goals
• Communicate individual performance expectations clearly to team members
• Lead workforce planning, including recruitment, development, and succession planning
• Manage budgets, cost control, governance, and compliance
• Drive loss elimination initiatives and continuous improvement

• Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems
• Progressive Maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems
• Execution of breakdown and planned maintenance standards
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Six Sigma methodologies
• Leadership of line teams in manufacturing environments

Additionally, candidates must communicate effectively, handle challenging interpersonal situations tactfully, and influence teams within a unionized environment.

Manufacturing Operations and Safety Expectations

This manufacturing job in Nigeria involves end-to-end management of production and maintenance activities within the plant.

• Maintenance, weighing, steam systems, and vacuum systems
• Cooker, forming, and cooling system operations
• Root cause analysis to achieve lasting solutions

Education and Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• BSc or HND in Engineering or equivalent from a reputable institution
• At least 2 years’ experience in a process plant
