Union Maritime Graduate Programme 2026 Overview

2 years. 4 rotations. Endless opportunities.

The Union Maritime Graduate Programme 2026 runs for two years and includes four six-month rotational placements across business, operational, and technical streams. Graduates will work directly with global teams, gaining a deep understanding of how Union Maritime operates end-to-end.

Programme Locations

  • Lagos, Nigeria (6 graduate positions)
  • Singapore (3–4 graduate positions)

In the second year, participants may also rotate into other international offices, depending on business needs.

Rotation Areas in the Union Maritime Graduate Programme 2026

During the programme, graduates will rotate across multiple departments, including:

Core Business & Operations

  • Projects: Plan and deliver real maritime initiatives
  • Commercial Operations: Manage vessel performance and cargo movements
  • Top Fenders: Gain hands-on experience in marine services and port operations

Technical & Digital Streams

  • Technical & TMS: Vessel engineering, compliance, and performance
  • SeaLabs: Digital innovation, data, and maritime technology solutions

Corporate & Strategy Functions

Graduate Programme Requirements

  • 0–2 years post-qualification experience
  • Nigeria applicants: Completion of NYSC by July/August 2026
  • Singapore applicants: Degree completion by July 2026
  • Availability to start in September 2026 (two-year commitment)
  • Strong communication, analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work 5 days onsite (Apapa for Lagos roles)
  • Legal work authorisation in Lagos or Singapore (no visa sponsorship)
