The Union Maritime Graduate Programme 2026 runs for two years and includes four six-month rotational placements across business, operational, and technical streams. Graduates will work directly with global teams, gaining a deep understanding of how Union Maritime operates end-to-end.
Programme Locations
- Lagos, Nigeria (6 graduate positions)
- Singapore (3–4 graduate positions)
In the second year, participants may also rotate into other international offices, depending on business needs.

During the programme, graduates will rotate across multiple departments, including:

- Projects: Plan and deliver real maritime initiatives
- Commercial Operations: Manage vessel performance and cargo movements

Graduate Programme Requirements
To qualify for the Union Maritime Graduate Programme 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university (any discipline)
- Minimum of Second-Class Upper (2:1) or equivalent
- 0–2 years post-qualification experience
- Nigeria applicants: Completion of NYSC by July/August 2026
- Singapore applicants: Degree completion by July 2026
- Availability to start in September 2026 (two-year commitment)
- Strong communication, analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work 5 days onsite (Apapa for Lagos roles)
- Legal work authorisation in Lagos or Singapore (no visa sponsorship)
